Matica EdiSecure ART Retransfer Film
The Matica XID8300 is reverse transfer printer meaning that the print is first applied to a clear film which is then bonded on to the surface of the card. Therefore retransfer film is an essential component of your consumables kit when printing with the XID8300.
The retransfer film also offers some protection from day to day wear and tear and from the print fading thus prolonging the life of your cards.

EDIsecure printers require specialized media to function properly. To maximize printed card quality and durability, as well as print head life and overall printer reliability, use only certified EDIsecure ribbons.
When stored under proper conditions, EDIsecure ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year. Ribbons that are more than a year old, and improperly stored, will not print optimally and will likely end up costing more money and time in maintenance and in reprinting cards.
