advanced PIR packs features such as state-of-the-art spherical lens optics with mirror
look-down zones and a unique curtain mask adapter.
With the PYR-1021, motion detection is fully digital. Complex algorithms provide superior
catch performance and false alarm immunity. The midsized unit is encased in an elegantly
designed shell, blending into any environment inconspicuously.

PYR-1021 was designed with a focus on high
quality and reliability as our top priority.
This midsized spherical sensor blends into any
environment, keeping a low profile while providing stateof-
the-art optics. An advanced spherical lens made out of
patented materials provides white light immunity. The
optic pattern includes look-down (creep) zone protection
using a mirror and curtain zones with a unique snap-in
curtain mask.
The internal digital microcontroller provides superior
motion analysis for catch performance and false alarm
immunity with environmental thermal compensation.
The PYR-1021 has cover and wall tamper detection, and
jumpers for selecting sensitivity and LED operation.
The product design has smooth curves and blends into
most indoor residential and commercial environments.

Zone Indicators
A maximum of sixteen zones are possible: 6 on board, 12 on
board with doubling and 16 with an additional expansion
module. The indicators can blink (indicating an open sensor
condition) or be on permanently (when the zone is violated) or
be off, depending on the status or mode or operation of the
